I've been learning some basic digital art techniques including making planets.
Here is a practice shot I got when I used an old landscape image and renderred then inserted a moon into it. pls full view

Wonderful work! How did you render the moon (what application?). Also, the fadeout to black on the top of the image seems unreal, it's not convincing when compared to the ambience to the left and right. A bit more gradience would be better, IMHO. :nod: All in all, this is great work, the colours are vibrand and the reflections are done amazingly good. :thumbsup:
