Update on life

I have been missing from DA for a few months, Im still alive and kicking! And I still take photos although now my focus has become more and more on commercial stock stuff. That being said, I have become slightly bored with my recent photography and I would like to a few steps back to the experimental days - I havent done a long exposure in ages, I havent done an artistic self portrait for a while, I still havent attemtped the cliche waterdrop or milk splash or flying goldfish, and I havent taken a candid in way too long. Basically I feel like technically and artistically my photography has come to a standstill. And over the next few weeks I will try to rediscover my artistic side.

I made a post about stock photography way back in december 2004, then I was making 20c a day now i make a lot more, I guess its not hard to see where all my photography energy was going. I started selling on just two sites, added one more then this year i went exlusive with istockphoto.com and havent looked back since. My goal is to be making enough to pay for medical school in a year or two, so we'll see how that goes.

So in my non-photography life I am still a full time student. I graduated from college and now I am a first year medical student. Honestly its like a full time job... we have classes basically from 9-5 everyday, and sometimes longer, but im enjoying what im doing and really like the people around me. Im still not used to getting up at 8am everyday though. Anways thats the update from me... actually one last thing, I recently started a blog its over at [link]
